The support provided by the company and the individuals
within it, the development opportunities that
are given to everyone to progress and its brand
name within the industry. Also its working ethics
in providing a quality service to both clients
and candidates. |

The knowledge of a wide group of individuals who
work within SSR, HR knowledge/issues that may
effect or clients and candidates and placements
and technologies that assist us to react quickly
to client requirements. |

do you like about the location/office?
Close to the station 5 minutes from Walthamstow
Central. Only 30 minutes from the City. |

facilities are you provided with that you have
found useful?
Recruitment system, web based pages to attract
candidates, industry knowledge of senior managers
within SSR – also the admin support provided
by the company is better than what some city recruitment
companies can provide. |

provided)?
To consider quarterly trade advertising in the
electronic security industry. |

is it you like about working within SSR?
A friendly working environment, support and input
from the management team to progress my working
knowledge and skills and their faith in my ability
as a recruiter. |

did you chose to work at SSR (if some of you can
remember that far back)?
Its market presence within the profession and
its ethics in doing business and where the senior
managers want to progress the business. |

Why
you would recommend a friend to work here (if
so why)?
As SSR are progressive in its views with new technology
to assist its consultants and administrators it’s
an excellent company to achieve excellent earning
potential (not pie in the sky like other agencies
tell prospective employees). Also the career prospects
and the development opportunities that are available.

are you kept informed of events and issues within
the company?
The monthly meetings the company has, senior management,
the intranet, emails that are sent regarding company
policies, updates in recruitment legislation and
competitor information. |

do you get from your current role?
Working within a team that likes to see others
doing well, the support from my peers and colleagues
that I work alongside, the satisfaction of a job
well done with both my clients and candidates,
and an above average working environment with
others within the business. |

Additional industry knowledge, clients/contacts
that if I was working at other agencies may not
get access to. |

do your clients think of SSR and how does this
impact you?
Having an excellent reputation for service, it
does attract clients and candidates to SSR due
to it professional approach to the recruitment
process. |

well supported are you in your current role?
Very well supported in all areas from IT support,
administration and the senior management team
as they all have time to discuss any issues with
me or my colleagues – even if they are busy
themselves. |

would you describe your promotional prospects?
Good, providing I'm doing what’s required
of me the opportunities are certainly there. |

well were you inducted into the organisation?
Very thorough, by the end of it I knew where to
put the cat out – which was handy as it
was explained that there was no cat !!! |

would you describe the management support?
Very good, from the board to the team leaders,
everyone chips in if ever it's needed. |

training opportunities are available to you?
Available all the time, from internal emails with
notes from leading recruiters worldwide, together
with internal and external training courses. |

people to work here?
The time and investment given to everyone in the
business to achieve their potential, the support
given to everyone even when things can go badly
in this industry and a good working environment
and benefits that become offered with service.
It's also a place where you want to go to work and look forward to it, even
when business is tough, not dread going in like
some places I have worked in the past.
