| Job description: |
This international flame detection and gas detection manufacturer are looking to recruit a service and commissioning engineer to join their team based in the UK. The position involves servicing, fault finding and commissioning flame detection and gas detection systems in the UK, Europe (including Eastern Europe), Africa and the Middle East, in a variety of applications both on and off shore. Other duties include providing technical support for internal and external clients. Due to the nature of the role there will be a lot of travel both nationally and internationally so candidates will be expected to be way from home for long periods of time. The role comes with a basic salary of (c)£30,000 plus car, overtime, allowance for being away from home and benefits package. AAE in excess of £40,000, this is a fantastic opportunity.

| Candidate profile: |
Candidates for this role should have at least four years industry experience with detailed knowledge of flame detection and gas detection systems. Good organisational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work un-supervised to H&Sguidelines, as well being able to obtain certification to work offshore and other petrochemical facilities. |
