Job description: This independent fire detection systems maintenance and installation company are currently looking for a fire detection systems engineer to join the existing engineering team within the Southern Region, covering London and the Home Counties. Candidates for this role must have good experience and skills with the servicing, maintenance and commissioning of a range of fire detection systems, being able to carry out some minor installation works where necessary. The role comes with a basic salary of up to 30,000 + overtime + callout allowance (1 in 4) + plus car/allowance (non-sign written), pension and package (AAE (c)37,500. Candidate profile: Candidates for this role need to have a proven track record of working in the fire industry, with a minimum of 3 years experience, having complete working knowledge of the British Standard BS 5839. Candidates will need to have performed installation, maintenance, service and commissioning to fire systems and should preferably have a good working Knowledge of Honeywell Gents and Notifier systems, although not exclusively as my client also works on a wide range of 3rd party systems within their client base.
