Job description: This National Fire Systems Installer require a further engineer to cover the Midlands who can be based in Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottts, Coventry or Birmingham. Candidates will be required to service, maintain, carry out small works installations and commissioning of a range of mainly open protocol systems. The role comes with a basic salary of up to 25,500 although this is negotiable for the right candidate. The position also comes with a van, call out, overtime and other benefits. Candidates can expect to earn well in excess of (c)30,000 with overtime and call out.
Candidate profile: A full driving licence, a very good technical understanding of fire detection systems and working knowledge of BS 5839 are essential for this role. Candidates need to be able to work unsupervised and be responsible for themselves. Excellent communicationskills and the ability to liase with clients and other member of staff are also pre-requisites for the position.
