Information Security Management system.
As the single point of contact in the development, delivery and oversight of an effective Information Security Management system your responsibilities will include:
Development, documentation and maintenance of information security policies, procedures, and standards across the organisation, raising awareness of information security.
Responsible for all elements of Cyber security, Risk reviews and remediation.
Investigate suspected and actual security incidents and produce reports with recommendations to ensure any remedial action is taken.
Assist in system and software architecture and design to ensure that data and assets are appropriately secure at all times
Disaster recovery and business continuity.
Undertake knowledge management activities: identifying, controlling and storing any pertinent information, and maintaining knowledge items to ensure that they are current, relevant and valid
Look for opportunities to improve services and processes are identified and actioned.

Candidate profile: Formal Information Security qualification (CISM, CISSP/CISA or equivalent) with experience of building an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Strong background in Information Security Management or IT Audit related role; with experience of the design and delivery of training.
Understanding of ISO27001, business continuity and compliance and audit frameworks.
Understanding of IT infrastructure, networking systems and information management systems.
Experienced in the selection and implementation of appropriate security controls with knowledge of the laws, regulations, and standards relating to IT security.
Ability to produce clear written material and communicate information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders
Experience of operating with a high level of autonomy and the ability to manage others to ensure delivery to agreed timescales.
