Job description: Our client is currently looking for a Security Officer to join their team. Your main duties will be to monitor premises against unauthorised entry and vandalism, in order to reduce the risk of loss, damage, or injury to the premises and employees. Provide an effective deterrent against crime by carrying out duties in a professional and appropriate manner to fellow employees and visitors, in accordance with the Operating Procedures.
Working Pattern is 4 days on 4 days off 12 hour shift pattern. 7 days per week including nights, days and bank holidays.
Candidate profile: SIA Licence desirable
Previous experience in working in a corporate environment

To be successful in this post you will have the following responsibilities.
Proactively protect company staff and assets.
To develop awareness of shrinkage issues through store visits, compliance checks and coaching.
Conduct investigations into acts of gross misconduct and breaches of company policy and procedures.
Analyse data and identify areas of risk.
Initiate regional projects to tackle local issues in conjunction with Regional Manager.
Undertake investigations and police liaison following any losses from internal
or external events including burglaries, robberies, theft or fraud.

Candidate profile: To be considered, candidates must have proven knowledge and experience in a retail environment as a Regional Security or Loss Prevention manager.
Experience of conducting and preparing investigations would be an advantage, but is not essential. You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and influencing skills.
You will be self motivated and a good team player with attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be required to stay away overnight at short notice, and must have a full UK driving licence.
