Our client is a leading provider of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion and other electronic security products and is an international developer and manufacturer of high-quality electronic security systems and components.
This customer-facing Technical Sales position based in Sweden or Norway provides technical account management and advice to all channels for the complete range of equipment manufactured by the Security Products division. The successful candidate will support the technical as well as basic commercial aspects of sales cycles in the Nordic Regions and maintain the technical facilities used for sales presentations.
The job will be based in Sweden or Norway. Frequent travel in the Nordic region is required
Job Responsibilities
As a Technical Account Manager, the successful candidate will have the responsibility for:
1. Offer support and advice on products.
2. Support Product Launches
3. Carry out demonstrations and presentations to end user customers and consultants.
4. Regular contact with distributors and system integrators
5. Visits to end users to demonstrate and discuss Intrusion, Access Control and Video Systems products and promote sales.
6. Deliver technical training modules the on primary product range.
7. Constant liaison with customers to offer support and advice on specific products and projects
8. Arrange Exhibition and Show activities
9. Sales orientation supporting customers with tasks related to the sales cycle, including commercial issues

1. Technical Higher National Certificate with relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and job experience.

An opportunity has arisen within our Internal Security Sales Team (central London Office) for an ambitious, self-motivated and results driven individual to join the Internal Sales Team. Working closely with the externally based account manager, you will build, develop and maintain business from new and existing accounts (in a specific geographical area) with products and services from the electronic security portfolio and to maximise revenue from products across the business whilst maintaining the CRM SYSTEM (MADDOX) to ensure communication and records are accurately updated.
• Pro-active telephone calling (cold & warm) – Prospecting for new accounts/business through account interrogation, working closely with suppliers, trade publications, the internet and from specific call out tasks
• Plan and implement a strategy for targeting customer account potential i.e. products, services and support
• Actively promote the products and services available from our electronic security portfolio whilst also actively promoting those across the business with the view to maximising revenue and margin potential i.e. up-selling, cross-selling, add-on selling and reviewing product mix
• To support the External Security Team with customer enquiries, quotations etc.
• Identify customers training needs and actively promote training courses and accreditation programmes offered by the business and/or suppliers
• Act as a trusted advisor of the products and services being promoted, constantly looking to enhance your own knowledge
• Be aware of and highlight to line manager any competitor activities
• Update relevant information on a daily basis into the MADDOX CRM system, i
• Initiate and attend various social events/PR activities in order to cement relationships with customers, with the view of maximising business opportunities.

We are seeking a high calibre Business Development Manager with a proven alarm/security industry track record of selling products and / or services into a variety of business sectors. The right person will have a ‘can do attitude’ and be willing to travel throughout the UK. Ideally you will have an alarm industry background and be self-motivated with a professional consultative in your approach. You will have knowledge of electronic security systems, and a technical sales background.
You will be tasked with selling their specialist systems throughout the UK to major Utilities, users, specifiers; security integrates and alarm installation companies. Focusing on developing new business you will need to show an entrepreneurial spirit in maintaining and developing the companies specifier and dealer sales base whilst generating new sales leads. The successful candidate will be expected to work on their own initiative to generate leads and secure new business through meeting clients and cold calling.
This is a relationship-building sales role where you are tasked with two core responsibilities: the first is managing and motivating Accredited Dealers and major users/specifiers throughout the UK; the second is winning high valued end-user projects in conjunction with Accredited Dealers.
For much of the time you will be out and about, meeting clients and attending appointments. You will be given realistic sales targets and KPI's and ultimately be rewarded for your results.
To apply you will have ideally sold in a business–to-business sales capacity within the security sector.
They will provide full product technical and sales training.
