Responds appropriately to a variety of potential and/or real emergencies, alarms and extraordinary events.
Determines, once on the scene, whether or not his/her canine is to be utilized based on the handlers assessment of the situation and knowledge of the dog's capabilities.
Responds to complaints generated by security dispatch, staff, and visitors (e.g. suspicious activity, improper access, etc.) and investigates the same, writes related security reports.

- Visit all assigned sites, clients and Security Officers at designated times.
- To roster and deploy Officers according to customer needs in line with company policy and best use of resources.
- To interview and recruit staff in line with company policy.
-To train officers at their place of work, to coach and guide to a high level of service delivery; to assess officers performance and complete training records as per company requirements.
- To communicate effectively with all customers and liaise regarding identified needs and next steps.
- To complete Assignment Instructions and issue as per directions and company requirements. To address additional Health & Safety Issues with relevant Line Manager.
- To complete Site Visit Sheets for each store visited or where relief cover has been provided and communicate these with designated departments.
- To deal with company misconduct and disciplinary procedures and issue Misconduct Forms and Store Removal Requests in line with company policy.
- To process uniform requests and distribute within the required timeframe.

Using your rapport with the officers to resolve any queries or disputes they may have.
Use the appropriate method to relay necessary information to HR, Control or the Accounts department.
Using various skills to defuse any conflicting situation with a customer reporting details of the conversation to the C.R.M, C.R.C.M or Area Manager/Supervisor.
