A leading national fire and security company are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager with a commercial focus, based in either Manchester or Derby and ideally with industry experience.
• Redefine the Division’s approach to contractual review, negotiation and governance
• Review of Customer contracts of purchase utilising Standard Form Contracts and our Customer’s bespoke contracts
• Direct negotiation of contracts with our Customer’s contractual and commercial teams
• Assess and highlight key contractual risks to relevant stakeholders and support in risk mitigation
• Communicates with all interested parties so that all understand the terms of the contract and their obligations under it
• Review and renegotiation of existing contracts
• Resolve any and all contractual disputes
• Review, refine, redraft and consolidate the Division’s standard Terms and Conditions of Sale
• Review, refine, redraft and consolidate the Division’s standard Terms and Conditions of Purchase
• Negotiate contractual agreements with our Supply Chain Partners to ensure the future interests of the business
• Manage a library of controlled templates for use by relevant stakeholders
• Create and implement customer and supplier contractual governance processes
• Provide guidance and training to Sales and Operational Teams on key contractual terms, areas of risk and successful contract negotiation skills
• We are looking for someone who has previous experience in successful contract negotiation in a similar role ideally in the fire & security industry.
