My client is a distributor of Access Control equipment, Due to continued expansion they are looking to recruit a head of sales to primarily drive the growth of the Access Control business, This role offers excellent career progression for the right candidate
Ultimate role
• Manage the Access Control and Gate Automation sales/customer service teams
• Create and deliver a clear sales strategy
• Create and drive sales growth throughout both areas of the business
• Manage key customer accounts
• Potential for role to develop further including managing supplier relationships, sourcing new product and identifying potential new markets
• Setting, monitoring and reporting directly to directors on team goals and performance

Initial role
• Help devise and implement a business plan to increase both the sales of Access Control and Gate Automation
• Manage the Access Control sales/customer service team, implementing better practice and looking at areas of growth
• Ideally have a good understanding technically of access control products
• Build relationships with key customer accounts, particularly on the Access Control side
• Learn all aspects and roles within the business, including sales/customer service functions, purchase ordering & warehousing
• Gain an in-depth knowledge of both the Access Control market and Gate Automation market Requirements
• Exceptional at building relationships, account management and delivering unsurpassed customer service
• Demonstratable leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a team and set and achieve goals
• Previous experience of delivering a successful marketing strategy
• Highly motivated with proven success and experience in a similar role
