Our client is a national fire & security systems installer who require a technical service manager to cover some large, prestigious sites in the Northern Home Counties. The successful applicant will be responsible for running a team of service technicians covering fire and security systems, giving technical guidance, advice and direction to the team and customer. The candidate will have to creating and implement a planned maintenance program, ensuring compliance and excellent customer service. This person will be the technical authority on fire detection systems with in-depth knowledge of BS 5839, ideally with an understanding of LPS1014 and SP203-1 accreditation and rules. Knowledge of sprinkler and suppression systems would also be advantageous. This exciting opportunity comes with a salary to £60,000 plus car allowance and package.
Candidates for this role will have to have in depth knowledge of a variety of fire detection systems, ideally with a full understanding of LPS 1014 and SP203 accreditation. Some knowledge of sprinkler and suppression systems would be an advantage, as would some knowledge of security, CCTV and access control systems. Excellent communications skills will also be a necessity.
