An opportunity to join an expanding international supplier of security products and systems in a key role of managing the sales function to maximise the return from the existing sales pipeline and develop and execute a group-wide strategy to achieve growth targets. - Engage with C-suite customers, partners and stakeholders.
- Deal with ministerial level clients and influencers.
- Review and approve all large sales quotations and make bid/no bid decisions.
- Maximise cross-selling opportunities across the group.
- Closely monitor and maximise the conversion rate of existing sales pipelines.
- Work with marketing department to ensure that a consistent group sales message is delivered.
- Overall management of the product and systems sales teams plus overseas representatives and agents.
- Ensure that sales targets and performance are closely monitored and achieved.
- Produce accurate, comprehensive sales reports to the board.
- Carry out regular staff appraisals, identify deficiencies and introduce appropriate training.
- Maintain an up to date understanding of the international security market and advise the board of new sales initiatives.
- Candidates must have extensive global sales and marketing experience at C-suite/Ministerial level.
- A proven ability to manage diverse sales teams, in the field seeking major infrastructure opportunities and growing an online product sales presence.
- Experienced in sales lead generation in the UK and Internationally.
- Pre-setting targets, mentoring teams to achieve set goals.
- Experienced in managing CRM processes and producing accurate reports to the board.
- You must be prepared for frequent travel in both the UK and overseas.
- Experienced in selling high end security products such as scanners and/or systems to CNI or Government clients.
