Due to continued growth, this fire and security systems installer and service provider based in Hertfordshire are looking to appoint a service manager to oversee the service side of the business. Reporting to the Engineering Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for service engineers, trainees, and apprentices as well as service coordinators. Responsibilities include leading a team of fire and security service engineers and sub-contractors, ensuring service visits are scheduled and delivered (including call-out scheduling), maximising the operational efficiency of the service department, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met, weekly reporting, auditing engineers in line with NSI and BAFE requirement sand leading any training required for the team. Applicants for this role will need to be from the fire and security industry, have a good understanding of service delivery, have excellent communications skills, a full driving licence and industry qualifications.
