This is an Exciting Opportunity to join our client who are a leading provider of security and risk management services to corporate and private clients. They have a focus on delivering exceptional service and safety to clients, they are committed to creating employment opportunities for former military and security services personnel. They seek an experienced Sales/Business Development Director to join the Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company's client base and brand, driving the growth of the company.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the business. You will have a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to grow the business in this key vertical. This position is full-time, hybrid working remotely from home with the ability to travel as required.

The Role

  • Develop and write GTM plan for the business.
  • Proactively seek and drive new business opportunities, generate leads, and close sales.
  • Develop and build a strong sales pipeline that enables targets to be met.
  • Identify client needs and create intelligent account plans that are appropriate.
  • Create compelling sales proposals and present appropriate solutions to clients.
  • Weekly, monthly reporting to senior management and board level.
  • Meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets.
  • Maintain consistent and accurate records within the CRM system.
  • Work in collaboration across all functioning services to develop and implement new service lines and bundled solutions.
  • Secure clients to pass onto account managers.
  • Research businesses, individuals, and industry trends to identify potential new clients.
The Person
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the sales process and best practices.
  • Proven experience of driving sales within the security sector.
  • The ability to Identify, qualify and win new business.
  • Proven ability to analyze market trends to seek new customers.
  • A good network of contacts would be highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer services skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Previous experience with a proven Sales / BD background.
