Our client seeks a highly skilled and proactive Site Security Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of security at a site in Hull. The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding the site, its assets, personnel, and sensitive information, ensuring a secure and compliant environment for both production and administrative operations.
This role involves leading a team of 20 security personnel, ensuring compliance with UK port security regulations, managing risk, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for both production and administrative areas. The manager is responsible for supervising staff, managing incidents, managing security technologies, and maintaining detailed security documentation and reporting.

Key Skills:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Supervising a team of 20, including 4 supervisors; performance management, rota planning, and staff development.
  • Security Operations: Managing access control, perimeter security, and emergency response plans.
  • Risk Assessment: Conducting security audits and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Incident Management: Investigating breaches, thefts, and leading emergency responses.
  • Technical Proficiency: Overseeing CCTV, alarms, access systems, and related technologies.
  • Communication & Reporting: Preparing security reports and liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Regulation: Ensuring adherence to legal, health and safety, and company-specific policies.
  • Organizational Skills: Planning, delegating, and managing resources efficiently.
  • IT Literacy: Strong skills in Microsoft Office and report writing.
Qualifications Required:

• Experience:
  • Previous management experience in corporate security, HM Forces, or Police.
  • Proven experience in customer service and employee development.
  • Experience in report writing, briefings, and emergency procedures.
• Personal Attributes:
  • Smart appearance, polite and courteous demeanour.
  • Physically capable of performing onsite duties.
  • Flexible and proactive with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Strong commitment to health & safety, equality, and quality service standards.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • SIA Licence – Security Guard (SG)
  • SIA Licence – CCTV
  • BS7858 Clearance
  • First Aid Certification
