Installation / Project Engineer – Security Systems
The Security systems installation / project engineer role involves being responsible for professional installation of a wide and varied range of electronic security elements across commercial and residential sites.
The competent and to regulation, professional delivery of integrated electronic security systems
Working on Multiple long-term projects giving a varied and interesting mix of disciplines
Ensuring project stages and key critical deadlines are met.
Reporting to project management daily and in a professional manner
Managing equipment requirements for projects
Dealing with clients face to face in a professional fashion.
An Understanding of network topography is essential to the role.
An Understanding IP protocol is essential to the role.
An Understanding of Ethernet wiring characteristics is essential to the role.
A Strong aptitude for electrical installation principles is essential to the role.
Strong Communication and customer facings skills are an essential to the role.
Prior and in-depth experience in the following disciplines and manufacturer equipment:
Paxton 10 IP cloud-based systems.
Paxton Net 2 Ip based / networked systems.
IP Based and Networked digital Video Door Entry systems
Comelit ViP Comelit Simplebus / Simple Bus ToP
Fermax IP / Fermax Duox
HIKVISION IP systems and Analytics / HIKVISION Central / HIKVISION TVI
DAHUA IP Systems and Analytics
Samsung IP systems
Pelco Ip systems and Protocol’s
Texecom / double pole / end of line / IP / Signalling devices / Wintec Software
Personal Requirements for the role
Possess a Clean driving licence where a company vehicle is part of the roles package.
Possess a clear record with zero criminal convictions of any kind and meet with the requirements to pass a CRB /DBS check and the full screening process required in the security industry.
Be prepared to travel as part of the role responsibilities.
Be personable and able to communicate professionally at all levels.
Be hard working, diligent and efficient.
Be able to work under pressure being flexible and adaptive to situations.
Be well organised and maintain excellent time management in both personal punctuality and delivery of work.
Be able to work as well in a team or independently.
Be self-motivated, and both technically and logically adept at problem solving.
ECS Card or higher
UK driving licence or recognised foreign Licence.
Negotiable salary dependent on skillset and experience
Available overtime at time and a half of hourly rate
20 days leave excluding bank holidays with time served holiday entitlement added.
