This national fire detection systems installer and service provider are looking to recruit a service and maintenance engineer to be based within striking distance of Glasgow and Edinburgh. Candidates will need to have good practical experience with the service and fault-find on a variety of fire alarm systems, PAVA, emergency lighting and nurse call systems, being able to work unsupervised. Reporting to the service manager the successful applicant will the first point of contact with customers so excellent communication skills are a must. Applicants will need to have a good understanding of BS 5839 and ideally hold FIA certification or similar, A CSCS card is a requirement. This position comes with basic salary to £33,000 plus car or allowance, call out, overtime and package. The successful applicant should earn in excess of £40,000.
