Job Details

This independent fire and security system installer based in the South West are looking to recruit a further fire detection systems installation and commissioning engineer to join their team covering the Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset and Wiltshire areas. The role is working for their project department where you will be an essential part of the team, working on commercial and large domestic sites, the successful applicant will need to have good technical skills with a variety of fire alarm panels and other life safety systems including PAVA, disabled refuse and aspirating detection, training can be given on Gent, Honeywell and Drax.
Main Duties & responsibilities:
• To carry out installation and commissioning works across a wide range of systems, working safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and the loss of unused materials.
• Provide excellent service to exceed the expectations and requirements of both the internal and external customers.
• Comply with all H&S legislation including all company policies.
• Work closely with the planning team, ensuring your time is managed efficiently and jobs are completed correctly.
• Correctly complete Engineer work reports, handover certificates and job pack as appropriate.
Essential Competencies:
• UK Driving licence
• Excellent organisational skills
• Self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong technical knowledge on GENT products would be a bonus
This excellent opportunity comes with a basic salary to £37,000 plus travel door to door, overtime, company vehicle with private use, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, medical insurance, contributary pension and other benefits.
