This fire alarm and automated venting systems installer based in Kent are looking to recruit a Design Engineer to join their busy team. This position will cover all aspects of designing systems from initial concept to final delivery, supporting the projects through their installation and commissioning. Applicants for this role will ideally have experience designing fire alarm systems to BS 5839 as well as experience in the design of AOV and smoke venting systems, although the client will accept candidates who are strong in either of the disciplines. Candidates from the HVAC industry, candidates who have experience with ductwork, and airflow, or who come from other mechanical engineering industries will also be considered. The successful applicant can expect a salary of up to £50,000 plus bonus and benefits package that includes private health insurance. This role will initially be office base but there’s scope for Hybrid office/home working after completing a successful probation period.
