Job Details
Our client is looking to recruit a dedicated Fire Door Inspector to support them across a large portfolio of buildings in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out quarterly inspections of common part fire doors and annual inspections of flat front doors to ensure they are compliant. Candidates should already have training by an approved inspection body (ideally via the FDIS).
Candidates will need to have:
• Experience as a Fire Door Inspector or a similar role in fire safety is desirable.
• A strong understanding of fire door components, installation, and maintenance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential safety hazards.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection schedules.
• Good communication skills
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to various sites as required.
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
• Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Be willing to help out in other areas of the business when required
The Package:
• £35,000 to £45,000 basic salary plus benefits package (negotiable for the right candidate)
