Fire & Security Engineer Overview
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning, installing, servicing, and fault-finding fire and security systems across industrial and commercial sites.
There are also single discipline positions available for Fire and for Security.
 
Rates & Benefits:
  • Service and Install works – £240/day
  • Commissioning Engineer – Enhanced rates / day
  • Bonus scheme offered
  • Majority of works are outside IR35
Duties:
  • Multiple system type service, repair and/or install - Fire, Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and DDA systems.
  • Commission and install fire alarms, emergency lighting, and security systems.
  • Conduct routine servicing and maintenance of installed systems.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify faults in both fire and/or security systems.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
Required:
  • Good communication skills are required as most of the role will involve being in a customer facing environment.
  • The ability to work alone and effectively organise your time.
  • Your own tools and PPE
  • A full driving licence
