Security Manager (6 Month fixed term contract)
This is a predominately a Monday - Friday role. As Security manager you will be responsible for the Day-to-day Security Operational Standards this very busy location. You will ensure excellent standards of Customer Care at all times whilst maintaining a safe, clean secure and well-maintained environment for all visitors and team members. Liaise with the appropriate external organisations in Basingstoke in order to forge good relationships in particular the blue light services and the local authority. Other duties include
Monitoring and reviewing Security Budgets
Look at cost improvement exercises
Delivery of contractual obligations
Responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the Security team.
Utilisation of the inhouse Management Information System
Ensure appropriate crisis management and disaster recovery are in place.
Champion Customer Service
Ensure all operational policies and procedures are up to date and are complaint with Statutory legislation
Regular reviews with senior managers
Perform to role of Duty Manager, supporting the onsite team
Oversee the provision of out of hours support to the team in conjunction with other key members of the management team.
Ensure the effective systems and controls are in place to protect the asset and any third party insurance liability claims are dealt with in effectively and timely manner
Oversee the interview and selection process of team members
Ensure induction and training programmes are in place and up to date
Provide leadership and encouragement to all Security teams.
