A thrilling opportunity awaits to become part of this successful luxury retailer. As you support the Head of Security for the United States, your role will focus on ensuring the seamless delivery of efficient and prompt physical security and risk management at one of their esteemed locations.

The Job

• Implementation of security protocols and procedures ensuring physical safety and security for employees and visitors, business continuity, loss and fraud prevention, and privacy.
• Together with internal stakeholders ensure that all security audit standards and global protection standards are adhered to and reported.
• Respond to all security concerns from company personnel and instruct security team members on reporting procedures, emergency procedures and incident response.
• Oversee and coordinate efficient security efforts, including information technology, human resources, communications, legal compliance and facilities management.
• Act as liaison to all departments on security measures, procedures and needs.
• Investigate and report any security breaches, overseeing all aspects of security personnel management including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure the appropriate security resource is available to meet the needs of the business on a day-to-day basis and that security personnel achieve the highest standards of conduct, physical fitness and personal appearance.
• Oversee the proper installation, functioning, maintenance and update of security equipment, both physical and electronic, including video surveillance and alarms.
• Conduct regular audits and risk management assessments.
• Vendor management and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders globally.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement and other related government agencies.
• Provide security for travel, special events, product launches, and deliveries, coordinating logistics for stores and manufacturing facilities.

The Person

• The ideal candidate should have competent technical awareness of loss prevention, personal and asset protection techniques and how they apply to the retail environment.
• Experience with supervising, motivating and leading a team. Strong experience in an operational management role in the corporate security environment or relevant Police/US Military experience.
• Deals effectively and creatively with the unpredictable.
• Excellent command of security operations and resource management.
• Takes responsibility for ensuring collaborative and effective working with teams to deliver results.
• Strong team player with a collaborative style, a positive ‘can do’ attitude who is committed to the success of the team.
• The ability to handle pressure and be able to travel when directed, often at short notice.
• The candidate should have experience to demonstrate excellent communication skills (English Verbal and written) and an understanding of formal investigative processes.
• Preferred qualifications include recognized Close Protection certification and proficiency in risk management principles.
• Computer literate with a clean driving record and willingness to undergo thorough background checks.
