This successful independent fire systems installer and engineering company requires a commissioning engineer to join their busy team covering the London and M25 area. The successful applicant will need to have good experience in the commissioning of fire alarm systems, with specific knowledge of Kentec systems and ideally a good understanding of AOV systems, although training can be given on these systems if needed. You will need to be a good communicator and be able to help organise and manage a small tea of engineers. This interesting position comes with a basic salary of up to £40,000 (negotiable) plus vehicle, overtime, call out (1 in 8), excellent bonus and package. AAE £55,000 plus.
Candidates for this position need experience of commissioning Kentec fire detection systems to BS 5839, a background in electrical installations and ideally some knowledge of AOV systems. Other attributes needed for the role include being a team player, being able to work to tight deadlines, IT literacy, an electrical qualification (C&G 2391 would be ideal) and a full driving licence.
