This BAFE accredited Midlands based fire systems installer and service provider are looking to recruit a further fire alarm engineer to cover Cambridgeshire and surrounding area. Reporting to the service manager the successful applicant will often be the first point of contact between the business and the customer, so excellent communication skills are a requirement, as well as good technical skills in the service, fault-finding, small works installation and re-commissioning of addressable fire detection systems (ideally having knowledge of Gent, Ziton, Advance, Kentec and other systems). Candidates for this role will need good knowledge of BS 5839, preferably with FIA certification. Working for this well-established industry installer/service provider the position offers a basic salary to £36,000 (neg.) plus car or van, travel time door to door, overtime, call out (1 in 6) and package. It is estimated that the successful applicant can earn around or in excess of (c) £50,000 in total with overtime, travel time and call out.
