This independent fire systems installer and service provider are looking to recruit a senior fire alarm technician to join their team providing specialist installation services to historical buildings around the UK. Candidates for this role will need excellent technical skills working on a number of different fire detection systems, including aspirating, beam detection and ideally having good knowledge of wireless systems (training on wireless systems can be provided if needed for the right candidate). An excellent understanding of BS 5839, the ability to install, service and commission systems are a necessity as is the ability to communicate well on all levels. FIA certification, knowledge of BAFE procedures, experience of working on projects and the ability to make design changes where necessary would be a big advantage.
The ideal area for candidates to be based would be in the North West of England as this is where most of the work is but applicants must be prepared to travel anywhere across the UK as required. With a salary to £60,000 plus car and package this is an interesting role with an exciting and relatively new industry installer.
