This regional fire detection installer based in the South East are expanding and seek a Service and Small Works Engineer to join their growing team. Applicants will need good skills in the service of Fire Alarm systems covering a range of manufacturers, being able to operate alone or as part of a team to a level including fault finding and installing small works accurately and to the current BS 5839 regulations. Service works would cover conventional and addressable fire systems including aspirating and also suppression systems (Gas and Water). A working knowledge of suppression systems would be a big bonus.
Working around the M25 but without much travel into Central London this opportunity will appeal to most fire alarm service engineers ass the role comes with a basic salary of £42,000 plus car or allowance (£6,500 p/a), overtime, call out at overtime rates (call out rota is built into the salary) and package. An AAE of £55,000 or more is easily achievable.
