Based Staines-upon-Thames
 
This is an excellent opportunity to work for our client an established and accredited private security group, they seek an experienced Group Security Manager to lead and strengthen operations across keyholding, mobile patrols, guarding, and control room services.
This is a newly created in-house leadership position offering the opportunity to shape operational standards, improve compliance frameworks and drive consistency across a growing security business operating to NSI Gold, SIA ACS and ISO 9001 standards.
The successful candidate will collaborate directly with the Directors, taking ownership of operational governance, service delivery, compliance, quality assurance and team leadership across multiple contracts and sites.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead keyholding, guarding, mobile security and control room operations.
  • Manage operational managers, supervisors, and field teams.
  • Drive compliance across SIA ACS, ISO 9001, and industry codes of practice.
  • Oversee audits, investigations, incident management, and corrective actions.
  • Improve operational systems, procedures, and service performance.
  • Support mobilisation, risk management, and client relationship management.
  • Provide out-of-hours operational leadership when required.
The Person:
  • Proven senior operational leadership experience within the private security sector.
  • Strong understanding of ACS, ISO 9001, and security compliance frameworks
  • Experience managing multi-site or multi-contract operations.
  • Background in guarding, mobile patrols, keyholding and control room environments
  • IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate
  • SIA Licence holder
  • Strong leadership, organisational and stakeholder management skills
