Are you an experienced Security Professional looking for an opportunity to influence security strategy within a highly regulated and nationally important environment?
We are recruiting for an exceptional Security Controller to join a respected organisation operating within the Defence and Critical Infrastructure sectors.
This is a pivotal role where you will lead security governance, compliance, risk management, personnel security and physical security activities, ensuring the organisation continues to meet demanding government, customer and industry security requirements.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will help safeguard people, information, assets and reputation while shaping the future security strategy of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead security governance, compliance and assurance activities
• Manage security risk and support organisational resilience
• Oversee physical security, access control and security processes
• Support personnel security and vetting activities
• Conduct security audits and compliance reviews
• Investigate security incidents and implement corrective actions
• Promote a positive security culture through training and awareness
• Support ISO 27001 and Information Security Management System (ISMS) activities
• Ensure compliance with Defence and Government security requirements
About You
We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in one or more of the following sectors:
• Defence
• Aerospace
• Government
• Critical National Infrastructure (CNI)
• Advanced Engineering
• Highly Regulated Environments
You will also possess:
• Experience managing security governance, compliance and risk
• Knowledge of physical, personnel and information security disciplines
• Experience conducting security audits and assurance activities
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement
• Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC)
