Job Description

Head of Corporate Security – Brazil
Location: São Paulo, Brazil

Ready to take the next step in your career?

Are you an experienced Anti-Illicit Trade, Counterfeit Investigations or Brand Protection professional ready to take on a broader leadership role?

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, forward-thinking security professional to step up into a senior position, leading Corporate Security and Anti-Illicit Trade (AIT) initiatives across Brazil.

You may already be a Deputy Head, Senior Manager, Regional Lead or the number two in your organisation. You might be leading major investigations, managing AIT programmes or working closely with law enforcement to tackle counterfeit products and illicit trade networks. Now, you're looking for the opportunity to take greater ownership, influence strategy and demonstrate what you can achieve at the next level.

You don't necessarily need to have held a Head of Corporate Security title before. What matters is your specialist experience, your results and your ambition to make a difference.

The opportunity

As Head of Corporate Security Brazil, you will lead initiatives to detect, disrupt and dismantle illicit trade networks, protecting products, brands, people and business operations.

A key priority will be turning intelligence into action — developing innovative approaches, strengthening investigations and collaborating with law enforcement, customs and regulatory authorities to deliver meaningful operational results.

This role offers the opportunity to broaden your leadership experience, shape national security programmes and introduce new ideas and technologies to strengthen the fight against illicit trade.

Alongside AIT, you will contribute to the wider corporate security agenda, including people and site security, complex investigations, crisis management, business resilience and security awareness.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead Anti-Illicit Trade initiatives - develop and deliver strategies to identify, investigate and disrupt counterfeit goods and illicit trade networks.
  • Drive intelligence-led operations - turn actionable intelligence into targeted investigations, enforcement activity and measurable results.
  • Champion innovation - explore and apply technology, data, analytics and new investigative approaches to improve the detection and disruption of illicit trade.
  • Build influential partnerships - work collaboratively with police, customs, regulatory bodies and industry partners.
  • Influence across the business - engage with Legal, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Marketing and Corporate Affairs to strengthen risk ownership and programme delivery.
  • Develop broader security leadership - oversee people and site security, investigations, security awareness, crisis management and business resilience.
  • Deliver continuous improvement - strengthen governance, reporting and performance measurement, ensuring security initiatives deliver tangible impact.

Who are we looking for?

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience gained within the tobacco, agrochemical, pharmaceutical or FMCG industries, although relevant experience from other sectors, corporate investigations or law enforcement will also be considered.

You will ideally bring:

  •  Proven experience in Anti-Illicit Trade, counterfeiting, brand protection, product diversion or illicit trade investigations.
  •  A track record of using intelligence to support investigations, enforcement actions or the disruption of illicit networks.
  •  Experience working with law enforcement, customs, regulators or other external stakeholders.
  •  The ambition and capability to step into a broader leadership position, taking ownership and accountability for results.
  •  A forward-thinking mindset, with a genuine interest in technology, innovation and finding smarter ways to tackle emerging threats.
  •  Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  •  The judgement, integrity and resilience to operate in a complex, high-pressure environment.
  •  Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
  •  The ability to travel frequently across Brazil
  • A Master's degree in Security, Law, Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred.
 Why consider this opportunity?

This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than a change of job title. It is a chance to take the experience you have already built and apply it on a larger stage.

We are looking for someone with the drive to prove themselves, the confidence to challenge established thinking and the curiosity to embrace new technologies and innovative approaches.

You may already be making a significant contribution within your current organisation. If you are ready to take the next step, lead at a broader level and make a measurable difference in the fight against illicit trade, we would welcome a conversation.
